I’ve been featured in the newspaper!

The Langley Advance Times (my local newspaper) asked me to write an article about how we celebrate the Christmas holidays in Mexico.

This winter marks my seventh year living in Canada, and while I still love watching the snow falling from my window while sipping a cup of hot chocolate, nothing compares to the warmth of a Mexican Christmas season.

Hitting the piñata, singing along with the neighbors, and receiving a present from the Three Wise Men are still some of my more cherished childhood memories. Writing this article for the paper made me hopeful that, once the COVID-19 pandemic is over, I’ll be able to relive these happy moments with my friends and family for the holiday season of 2021.
